Hundreds of Students in Bireuen are Enthusiastic about Taking Part in the 2024 Student Arts Festival.
Hundreds of participants consisting of students at Early Childhood Education/Kindergarten (PAUD/TK), Elementary School (SD), Junior High School (SMP), Senior High School (SMA) and equivalent levels in Bireuen Regency were very enthusiastic about taking part in the Arts Festival Students 2024.
The activity held by the Bireuen Education and Culture Service (Disdikbud), through the Cultural Sector, was officially opened by the Acting Mother of PAUD Bireuen Regency, Dr.dr. Nova Dian Lestari Sp.S(K).
The opening procession of the activity was held in the courtyard of the Bireuen Pendopo, Saturday morning (04/05/2024), attended by the Acting Regent of Bireuen, Aulia Sofyan, Ph.D, Assistant for Economy and Development, Dailami, S.Hut,. Then, Head of the Bireuen Education and Culture Office, Muslim, M.Si, Head of Culture, Muhammad Tasrief, SE., M.M, accompanying teachers, parents of participating students and other invitees.
In the essence of her direction, the Acting Mother of PAUD Bireuen, Nova Dian Lestari, said, National Education Day is a form of privilege in order to strengthen our enthusiasm for improving the quality of education and awakening the spirit of learning, creativity and encouraging public involvement and participation.
Therefore, the momentum of National Education Day comes with a number of meanings, one of which is as a vehicle for maintaining and preserving arts and culture.
"We are grateful that the Bireuen Education and Culture Service took the initiative to hold a Student Arts Festival, which is appropriate for the actualization of the accumulated messages that arrived gently from the past," he said.
Nova Dian Lestari hopes that this Arts Festival activity will become a medium for developing the creativity and talents of students at school.
"I appreciate the Head of the Bireuen Education and Culture Office and his staff and all parties involved in organizing the 2024 Student Arts Festival," he said.

Previously, the Head of the Bireuen Education and Culture Office, Muslim, M.Si, reported that the Student Arts Festival was held to commemorate National Education Day 2024. Apart from that, it aims to actualize creativity in increasing interest and talent in non-academic fields through real roles and work.
Participants in the activity consist of students at kindergarten/PAUD, elementary, middle and high school levels in Bireuen Regency and registration is free. It was said that the Student Arts Festival activities were filled with various competitions such as the Kindergarten/PAUD Coloring Competition with 200 participants.
Then, there was a Poetry Creation Competition at Elementary Level with 20 participants and a Rapa'i Competition for Middle School/Equivalent, High School/Equivalent Level with 10 groups participating. Next, there was a Photography Competition at Middle School and High School level with 69 participants.
"The Photography Competition will be held from April 25 2024 to May 2 2024," he explained.
It was explained that the Coloring Competition and Rapa'i Competition were held in the courtyard of the Bireuen Pendopo, while the Poetry Creation Competition was on the second floor of UPTD SDN 21 Bireuen.
It was stated that the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners in each competition were given prizes in the form of trophies, award certificates and a certain amount of coaching money.
