Bireuen Resort Police Give Awards to School Principals and Students.
The Head of the Bireuen Resort Police (Kapolres), Aceh Province, AKBP Jatmiko gave awards to Student Maulana Ari Lingga and the Principal of State High School (SMAN) 1 Bireuen, Zulfikri.
The award was handed over during the socialization of traffic order and crime alert at SMAN 1 Bireuen, Wednesday 24 July 2024.
Hundreds of students, the teacher council, Head of the Bireuen Regional Education Office Branch, Abdul Hamid, Chairman of the Razi School Committee, Kasatlantas, Head of the Intelligence and Security Unit and Bireuen Police personnel attended the socialization.
Bireuen Police Chief, AKBP Jatmiko, said that the handover of this award certificate was a form of appreciation for the dedication and participation in helping the police in building a culture of orderly traffic in the school environment.
"To increase awareness and compliance of teachers and students in driving, it is important to maintain the safety of yourself and other drivers when on the road," said Jatmiko.
This is proof that the role that has been used so far has had a very positive impact, because it has really helped the Traffic Unit (Satlantas) in campaigning, providing messages related to orderly traffic during Operation Obey Seulawah 2024.
"The main duties of the Indonesian National Police (Polri) include maintaining security and public order, enforcing the law, providing protection, guidance and service to the community," said Jatmiko.
Of course, regarding maintaining traffic security and order, students from home will check the equipment and condition of their vehicles, wear helmets and be careful when driving for the safety of themselves and others.

"I hope that no students from SMAN 1 Bireuen will be involved in this act, because at this age, younger students are very vulnerable/unstable and easily influenced," he said.
"I hope that the students of SMAN 1 Bireuen will not get involved, use the knowledge they have, such as rice knowledge, the higher they are, the lower they are. Study diligently to achieve the dreams of your students," he said.
Meanwhile, the Principal of SMAN 1 Bireuen, Zulfikri, expressed his gratitude to the Police Chief, AKBP Jatmiko, who has mobilized his members every day to help students, teachers and maintain traffic order on the main road in front of the school.
