Acting Regent Gives Award, Appreciation of Bireuen Police for Revealing Murder.
Bireuen Police Chief, AKBP Jatmiko and his staff received an award from the Acting Regent of Bireuen, Aulia Sofyan.
The award was presented by the Acting Regent of Bireuen because the Bireuen Police had succeeded in quickly revealing and arresting the perpetrator of the murder of a female student in Bireuen, Thursday (1/8/2024) afternoon.
As is known, the victim of the murder in the case was a student of the Nursing Study Program, Faculty of Health Sciences, Muhammadiyah Mahakarya University or UMMAH Aceh, Siti Alia Humaira.
The 21-year-old female student was found dead in her room in Geudong Alue Village, Kota Juang District, Bireuen Regency, Thursday, August 1, 2024 at around 13.30 WIB.
In less than 24 hours, the Bireuen Police arrested the perpetrator, a man with the initials RJ (35) in his village, Meuse Village, Kuta Blang District, Bireuen Regency.
The award was presented by the Acting Regent of Bireuen, Aulia Sofyan, at an event at the local Police Headquarters to the Bireuen Police Chief, AKBP Jatmiko SH MH and his staff as a form of appreciation for the Bireuen Regency Government in uncovering the case and arresting the perpetrator.
The Acting Regent said that he greatly appreciated the quick response of the Bireuen Police in uncovering the murder case of the UMMAH student, where in less than 1x24 hours the main perpetrator was successfully arrested.
"I express my highest gratitude and appreciation to the Bireuen Police and its staff with their quick response in uncovering the murder case of the UMMAH student, where in less than 1x24 hours, the main perpetrator was successfully arrested.
This is certainly a very good achievement, hopefully in the future cases that occur can be uncovered quickly," said the Acting Regent.
