Bireuen Regency Scouts Hold 63rd Scout Anniversary Ceremony.
The Scout Movement Branch Quarter (Kwarcab), Bireuen Regency, Aceh Province, held the 63rd Scout Day ceremony, at the SMAN 2 Bireuen field, Wednesday, August 14, 2024.
On that occasion, Bireuen Regional Secretary Ir Ibrahim Ahmad acted as the Scout Day ceremony inspector (Irup). Regional Secretary Ibrahim Ahmad read the speech text of the National Scout Movement Chief Commissioner General of Police (Ret.) Budi Waseso.
Ibrahim Ahmad said that currently we are facing various challenges of an era full of uncertainty, the development of communication technology that has resulted in the disappearance of state boundaries because of the ease of relations between citizens and countries.
The rise of online gambling, bullying, drug cases, pornography and foreign cultures that have eroded the spirit of mutual cooperation and nationalism of the younger generation. In facing these problems, the scout movement is very appropriate to analyze the current situation.
The scout movement provides education in life skills, soft skills, hard skills, and is equipped with societal intelligence, namely spiritual, emotional, social, intellectual and physical intelligence which is the ideal posture of a scout, as a generation of change makers for the Indonesian nation, he hoped.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Bireuen Scout Movement, Dr. H. Muzakkar A Gani, said that the 63rd Scout Day commemoration raised the theme "Pancasila Spirit, Guarding the Republic of Indonesia".
"We are urged that the scout movement can foster our children to become national cadres who can guard the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI)," said Muzakkar A Gani.
