Dear friends
The peace of the world necessarily passes through the reconciliation of men among themselves and their approaching God with a repentant heart. Jesus our Lord in his infinite mercy left us a new commandment: "A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another" (John 13:34-35).
This verse from John's gospel, read today in the Mass, when explained in the homily, its reflection leads us to conclude that certainly following this commandment allows the relationship between men to follow the paths of goodness and justice that God wants for us.

La paz del mundo pasa necesariamente por la reconciliación de los hombres entre sí y el que se acerquen a Dios con corazón arrepentido. Jesús nuestro Señor en su infinita misericordia nos dejó un mandamiento nuevo "Un mandamiento nuevo os doy: Que os améis unos a otros; como yo os he amado, que también os améis unos a otros. En esto conocerán todos que sois mis discípulos, si tuviereis amor los unos con los otros."(Juan 13:34-35).
Este versículo del evangelio de Juan, leído hoy en la misa, al explicarse en la homilía, su reflexión nos lleva a concluir que ciertamente seguir este mandamiento permite que la relación entre los hombres siga los caminos de bondad y justicia que Dios quiere para nosotros.
