With the weatherman predicting heavy rain and cold temperatures on the way, I decided that it would be prudent to get the Christmas lights up outside while it was still nice. So after taking Brownie for her mid day walk, my wife and I spent a couple hours hanging the decorations.
To compensate her for helping, I agreed to go shopping with her. First we went to the furniture store where we wandered around for a hour or two looking at tables and chairs for our kitchen. Then it was off to the Walmart to pick up necessities that were running low.
We finally returned home just as the rain was starting to fall. The only thing left for me to do was make a pizza and enjoy a quiet meal with my wife.
