It is Veterans Day here in the US. This is a day to remember military people. I have family members who have been in the military and who are now serving.
I can hold two thoughts at the same time. I hope and pray for peace in this world. I think conflicts are best settled though open dialogue and negotiation.
I also honor people who have chosen to be members of the military. It's a choice I couldn't make, that life is not for me. But in this imperfect world I believe a strong military is needed. If you believe something different, I respect that and I respect you as a person and I very much want to be friends with all kinds of people with all kinds of opinions and beliefs in all kinds of topics.
