Hallo zusammen, ich habe mich mal wieder in der Schanze rum getrieben. Hatte da einen Termin und muss sagen fühle mich immer wieder wohl wenn ich in dieser Gegend bin. Überall sitzen die Leute draußen trinken Kaffee essen eine Kleinigkeit und haben eine schöne Zeit zusammen. Hier mal eine typische Wand wie man sie in der Schanze ganz oft findet. Gut hier waren keine großen Künstler am Werke aber irgendwie versucht sich jeder hier.

Everywhere people sit outside drinking coffee, eating a snack and having a nice time together. Here is a typical wall as you can often find in the ski jump. Well, there were no great artists working here but somehow everybody tries his hand.

Wie man sieht wird gerade gebaut. Es ist ein gigantisches Projekt geplant wo ich nur ganz kurz drauf eingehen möchte.

As you can see, construction is in progress. There is a gigantic project planned where I would like to talk about it only very briefly.

Der Bunker soll um fünf Stockwerke erhöht werden und dann von 30 m auf knapp 60 m anwachsen. Es soll alles begrünt werden. Ein Bach soll angelegt werden. Ein Hotel mehrere Pensionen und eine große Sport- und Eventhalle, Ausstellungsflächen, Gastronomie und das Bunkermuseum.

The bunker is to be raised by five stories and then grow from 30 m to just under 60 m. Everything is to be greened. A brook is to be created. A hotel several boarding houses and a large sports and event hall, exhibition areas, gastronomy and the bunker museum.

Das heisst für das Viertel auch noch mehr Events, noch mehr Tourismus, wo man sagen muss dass die Anwohner genug davon haben. Und die ersten Klagen sind auch schon auf dem Weg gebracht, was die Höhe des Gebäudes angeht. Die 60 m sind wohl nicht mit der gesetzlichen Regelung in Hamburg vereinbar. Das nächst höhere Gebäude ist 22 m hoch und es ist das Millerntor-Stadion, das Stadion von St. Pauli. Und da kann man jetzt nicht einfach ein Gebäude hinsetzen was 40 Meter höher ist. Na ja wir werden sehen und warten ab. Die Begrünung finde ich super aber ohne die wirtschaftliche Absicherung durch die Sport und die Eventhalle und dem Hotel wird es auch keine Begrünung geben.
