Sleep is critical for performing well, and keeping your mood under control. A couple of hectic weeks and sleep of less than 7 hours, on a couple of occasions even less than 6 turns you in a living zombie.
The worst part is the anxiety that it gives rise to, affecting your ability to pull through the day, and keep the thoughts under control. Not to mention that focus at work just doesn't work when you're sleep deprived.
