Today was an easy day to enjoy with my family on a road trip out to the back country hills south of Prescott.
Just 3 miles this morning with Lulu where she got to try out her shiny new winter coat that "momma" got for her (daddy thought it made her look too girly).
The light snow on the ground was still beautiful to look at and Lulu enjoyed poking her nose into the soft stuff to check out all of the neat smells while I admired the delicate frosted artwork Mother Nature deposited on the plants during the night.
After our leisurely drive through the warmer country around Cleator and Bumblebee there was time for a little mile or 2 walk for me just to get in a few more steps. Seems my leg discomfort is better so I'm hoping that I can jog a bit soon. Still looks like I won't be fit enough to do the ATY 24 hours in 2 weeks so that will have to wait another year.
Be safe and stay warm to all my friends up north that are getting buried in snow this week, especially up in South Dakota.
