My Actifit Report Card: January 10 2024

I didn't have much of a chance for any great exercise as we had an unusual mid-week dog rescue transport up to Flagstaff and back.

Fortunately, it wasn't a long trip, so Lulu and I had time for our morning walk before we had to head out. It had been another night with the temperature well below freezing (14 degrees at dawn to be exact) so both Lulu and I were bundled up in our warm jackets.

Lulu was far more interested in running around through the snow patches and rolling around in them whenever she could so I had to constantly urge her to get going. But we got in our 2 miles and warmed up for a few hours on the road with a sweetheart special needs Great Dane puppy.

We got back early enough for a quick 4 miles walking before the sun started to set. Overall it was an easy day but extra special with helping the puppy to the rescue for treatment.
