I spent most of the day on the road (8 hours to be exact) but it was helping to transport a sweet dog from a shelter in Alabama to her new home in Nevada so it was a day well spent ❤️❤️❤️
I had to leave early so Lulu and I weren't able to walk until about 3 pm and it was just a couple of miles for her (but she was happy after being in the car all those hours as well).
After I brought Lulu back home, I continued on for another 4 miles or so around the neighborhood. The sky was at least clouding over, which, along with the wind, helped to make things comfortable (it had been in the 90s during my drive). Still no rain but the forecast holds some promise next week. I'm tired but I'm hoping my legs feel good tomorrow.
