Another nice, warm , fall day and I took a short stroll all the way up the steep hill.
The park is an emblematic one with the monument of Alyosha, in commemoration of the Soviet Soldiers during the Second World War, who liberated Bulgaria from the Nazis.

Next to it there is a monument of Alexander Second, the Emperor of Russia who liberated it from the Ottoman rule.

It's the highest point in Plovdiv and it's the best vantage point overlooking the whole city, offering stunning views.
