The Weekly Zekely - #WednesdayWalk style!

I noticed our friend @tattoodjay is back walking and rocking after a little break. I happened to crush out over 5k steps so why not celebrate his triumphant return?

I am not sure what you did on mother’s day but you can check out my post a couple days ago and see what my day was like. Some of it was spent delivering mother’s day meals from one of my favourite restaurants to lucky moms around town.

It was great to wish hmd to so many wonderful ladies. Some were even surprised as they hadn’t been told to expect a brunch delivery with mimosa kits!

I then put in a shift of hard labour moving a yard of garden soil across the property by wheelbarrow. The heavy stuff is out of the way now and I should have a booming garden this summer! Once it is set up, I will post some before and after pics in a #gardenjournal over the next few months.

Most of these steps were up and down my trusty ladder as I had one of my most involved installations ever. I will save that one for a ladders post but here is a mundane shot in the middle of town, looking east below ominous looking skies. Turned out to me a great day and the weather held.

We had stylish masks made for our hockey team. We haven’t been able to play hockey in a year so it is nice to see Crash and his lovely wife sporting the logo and having fun

Of COURSE there was beer. Here is a little teaser for this week’s #beersaturday post. It is getting sour in here and I love it.

If you can believe it, we are still in lockdown mode as numbers of new COVID cases remain relatively high. I expect some fireworks for the holiday we hosers call May 24 weekend. Victoria Day makes for a long weekend and plenty of outdoor fun. If this government doesn’t allow the golf courses to be open, there may be a full on revolt.
