As I prepare to head back to work tomorrow I am reflecting on the blessings of the past few weeks. While I love adventure and new places and things, it was incredibly difficult to leave those we loved and who loved us so well in Texas. We were beyond blessed these past 8+ years by our church family and community in Texas and they are forever in our hearts (and our home is open if and when you visit).
We have explored lots of trails, made new friends, had Friday night frog collecting impromptu play dates in the rain, went to the zoo, saw many animals in our backyard, road bikes, went swimming, had new friends over, tried new foods, and I continue to be in awe of how God has seen us seamlessly through this transition. Our Texas family is always and forever in our hearts and I look forward to growing in our new community here in Virginia. 💜
