The Superpower I Want

Define what superpower you would like to have, what it consists of.

The ability to control time.

Superpowers are something we all wish for. From childhood, watching movies about superheroes such as Superman or Spiderman, I wondered “If only they gave me some superpower. The superpower I have wanted for as long as I can remember. I wil discuss with you about this.

The power I want is "the ability to control time." By The power of controling time, I would freely manipulate it in any way. I can pause time, go back in it or even skip forward through it. Time control allowed me to go back in time, forward into the future and replay or extend moments from what was happening. A mighty power this would be, as I'd usually have all the time-related things under my sleeve.

What good would it do you to have that superpower?

	Time Control

It would help me so much if I had the power to control time. Of course, but on the one hand i could have all my past mistakes repaired in time if I ever made any. This would be my "do over" chance at making better choices.

Secondly, I could see it coming and prepare for what may come down the track. It would be helpful for me to make life or death decisions and protect myself from danger.

The third thing is, this would make my life feel more complete. It allowed me to experience my favorite moments multiple times or I could even slow it down and savor the moment.

Everytime I had to rethink an old situation,or solve a complicated problem in my life today,I would hop back. With time control, I would get to experience every facet there was of life and would never have missed out another part again.

How could you help other people with that superpower?

So many ways for me to apply this power towards the forces of good. For example:

🔹Protecting people: I can literally protects people with it, such as a deadly event like Large Scale Accidents or Disaster strikes and I have to capability of turning back before anything happen.
🔹Corecting other people: I could correct someone if they were to make a mistake that would distress them. I could wind the clock back and allow them an opportunity to rectify their mistakes.
🔹Useful information for society: I would be able to prepare the right way if I knew major events were coming, and could inform others. I could inform the future so people know what to anticipate.
🔹Prevent wars or violence and catch criminals fast: If you could manipulate time, I would keep world peace by stopping wars before they occur via utilizing the power of time control so that no more meddling with lives happens around planet earth. This would help for peace and justice to set in society.
🔹Investigative research: I would investigate important historical events and find the actual truths by going back in time. This might help remove false historical beliefs or history problems and offer stronger education for the future.
🔹Preventing mental and social problems:
If you know a friend is going through some issues mentally or socially, I could prevent them from having those problems in the first place with time control. So, if someone is in pain over an event that happened to them I could re-write it so they were no longer suffering?
🔹Preventing crime and justice: Time control can be employed to capture bad persons, also time travelling would prevent crime. That would help swiftly catch criminals and fix justice in society.

Do you think that with great power comes great responsibility? Explain your answer.

great power comes great responsibility

I fully believe in the saying, "with great power comes great responsibility. Time is a powerful lever which, in the wrong hands and left unchecked could wreak havoc on all of our lives. If used carelessly, this power can not only be dangerous for the individual but also to society as a whole.

Allowing people to cut and run from a situation could be effective up to this point, but if left unchecked then that person would never move out of their ways. It may cause a loss of self-worth and move the body out of its natural rhythm.

Hence, this power is one that should be used in extreme care. Time control lead to tampering with the future or history, which is always catastrophic against humanity. Rather than using it for like this, the power of controlling time should be utilised in human welfare and morally.

I believe that with this power, I could do a lot of good, but it must be done with great responsibility and care to ensure the welfare of people and prevent any harm.
