Hola amigos, espero esten estén muy bien, hoy les hablaré sobre los pavos y porque se deben tener en un hogar, yo tengo la variedad blanca combinada, es decir que estan mezclados.
Son animales protectores y resisten al clima calido, ademas se deben mantener con buen alimento, plantas verdes, granos y frutas para poder tener un mejor peso y tamaño.
Muchas granjas los prefieren y tienen un buen negocio con ellos, yo en especial los crio porque me gusta y sus huevos son deliciosos.
Actualmente tengo cuatro y aprendo durante el proceso, mis padres antes tenian varios pero de color cenizo y negro estos eran muy bravos y no dejaban que yo entrara al gallinero, buenos recuerdos corriendo por todo el patio.
La hembra ya me coloca huevos por lo que estoy feliz, yo solo los lleve a ese buen tamaño y todavia estan jovenes.

Debemos tener cuidado con los perros y otros animales que pueden acabar con ellos en segundos, claro esta que como los pavos son territoriales pueden buscar una pelea y pueden que no ganen, asi que es mejor mantenerlos alejados.
Lo bueno es que conviven con las gallinas y gallos, pero para esto se deben acostumbrar desde pequeños y ellos poco a poco le tomarán aprecio.
