✨Hello community of steemit! ✨
Today I want to enter this contest thanking my friend @tocho2 for this type of initiative, mainly because they transfer us to memories that perhaps we do not have so much in mind every day and that make us more aware of what we live. Let's start with this initiative!
YO ANTES/ I BEFORE
My pre-pandemic normality was very different compared to today. It was all completely different in the areas in which I worked. For example, I went to school every day, shared the water bottle with my friends, touched everything regardless of bacteria, planned outings to the mall regardless of the day, and visited stores for our distraction. As for family, I constantly visited my grandparents, we ate with a large part of the family and it was our share of the month. In my house, we used to do the shopping and store it without disinfecting everything beforehand, we were not so alert when we arrived from the street, much less we paid attention when we sat down to eat in another place. In fact, for some reason, when it came to light that there was such a coronavirus, we refused to allow the virus to exist, everyone at home was "incredulous", until we presented symptoms such as fevers, headaches, we stopped perceiving odors and flavors for a long week. To be honest, we did have a strong crisis, since mom and dad had to leave work for two weeks and at the moment, we did not have the help of this tool that somehow helps financially. As you can see, it was all so different that it somehow causes nostalgia, even writing it impresses me to remember in detail the amount of things that changed thanks to covid-19.

YO DESPÚES/ I AFTER
After going through emotional ups and downs, I graduated from high school online, we celebrated at home in a way so small and simple but so special, that I felt lucky to have health and family. I chose to study telecommunications engineering starting with an introductory course totally online and not easy since it was all very different from school, with subjects that had another degree of complexity and that we basically had to solve any doubts ourselves. After so much, having accomplished so many goals despite the circumstances, it is only pride and satisfaction that remains to be borne in mind. Today in my family we are already more aware and judicious when going out, buying and even visiting another place. Each one is clear about the responsibility that the virus carries and that the normality of today is to use alcohol and masks.
The advice he always had in mind was "Keep calm, everything will happen and you will have one more experience to tell." Although it seems simple, that was my mantra, I repeated it as many times as necessary so as not to despair with the news, with the online homework, with the situation in the world in general. To this day, everything we live before, during and after is shocking, but somehow there is always the side that we have to be thankful for: having family, friends, partner and a technology that allows us to know about them despite the distance. Maybe we have pets and even neighbors that we can hang out with, but more importantly, we have physical and mental health and a life to be thankful for.
