I walked in the dark down a path of continuous hallways, all the while passing rooms left and right that were filled with a lot of pain. I arrived in front of a building where my father was being treated for stomach problems, he often complained of severe nausea that led to vomiting.
There wasn't much I could do other than accompany him and keep him company, telling him what had happened today and yesterday, so that he wouldn't think about his condition and how long he would be in room number 02 with two other people in other beds.
I lay down on the floor on a plastic mat that I always carry around in my car, a pair of bear-shaped pillows providing comfort in supporting my head. I checked my notifications, and upvoted and commented.
Then, being among people who were weak, doing Power Ups became a campaign to keep up the spirit!
Two days ago I actually did Power Up, as a form of my seriousness to continue to want to take part in this Platform. Of course, Power Up should be a weekly routine agenda carried out by every Steemit user, this is like providing nutrition so that the account performance is more energized.
I hope that in the future I can also continue to do more Power Ups.
Power Up Process
Look at my profile, initially the amount of Steem Power (SP) I have is 510 SP
Going to my Wallet, it shows that I have 45.582 Steem
Then I want to Power Up by choosing the available option
Then I was directed to enter the nominal value of Steem, I wrote down the amount of 25 that will be Power Up
And for that I also need to confirm the Transfer to Vesting amount of 25 Steem
Then I was in the final step of completing the transfer process by entering my Active Key
Finally now the amount I have has been reduced to 20.582 Steem only
Power Up has been successful, which can be seen from the amount of Steem Power I have to 535 SP
The Importance of Performing Power Up
As a user who has not been adventuring on Steemit for a long time, I think the knowledge of the benefits of doing Power Ups needs to be shared to encourage more other users, especially those who have just joined the platform. Don't think too much about how much Steem is converted into your Steem Power, the most important thing is to do the Power Up activity itself, because it affects:
Account Strength
With increased account strength, the trust of many other users is also getting higher, including from community administrators to curators. Users who regularly do Power Ups have directly shown their commitment to continue to be active on the platform which will lead them to the path to getting greater rewards.Steem Coin Value
One of the supporting factors for the stability of the Steem value or even its increase is the amount of Steem invested into Steemit user accounts in the form of Steem Power, this is a real contribution from users to maintain the credibility of the platform which will increase the trust of the market, making it very possible for a positive trend for the growth of the Steem Coin.Club Status
A rule in contests held in many communities requires participants to be at least in the Club5050, which illustrates that club status is a consideration for assessing a post, so that more Steem Power Ups made will help users themselves by being in a higher club and giving a good impact on reputation.
For a very long time (and still) I only powered up once per month. First because it costs SP if you powerup daily, secondly there wasn't much to powerup and it gives me a better insight in the monthly earnings.
Now I check a bit morefrequently also because of hacked accounts (as I was hacked I found it out 1 or 2 weeks too late).
I am sorry to hear about your dad ☹️ somehow it sounds strange to power up if his power is down and yours must be as well. I do hope it all will work out well just for my friend who had an emergency operation yesterday.
Know my thoughts and best wishes are for both of you and if it comes to Steemit and you I believe you are a big win for the platform and you grow faster than I did in all those years.
♥️🍀🤗
Ps perhaps it is good to use the hashtags for powerup like #powerup #spud and Ibelieve tgere's a 3rd one. Worth the try.

Thank you, this encouragement from you I will carry in my memory, especially for the precious hope that led to a prayer. Best wishes for your friend's health as well.
I can feel how I continue to learn on the Platform with you having a big influence on my journey on Steemit, may it continue to be so.
It's a pity that #wewrite is entering the final episode, tell me how can I learn about freedom later? I will.
