In its Economic Survey, the government, discussed the problem of unemployment in detail, and suggested some solutions. They said that till 2030, they'll need to create 7.85 million jobs every year,
On page 158 of this report, they admitted that every one out of two Indian graduates, is unemployable because they lack sufficient skills.
According to CMIE data, the unemployment rate in the 20-24 age group, reached 44.49% in early 2024.
This report talks about Artificial Intelligence too.
It mentions how Artificial Intelligence leads to a lot of uncertainty.
And at every skill level:
Irrespective of low-skill level worker or high-skill level worker, there's uncertainty about everyone's job with the advent of Al. It clearly mentions that "(Al is the) biggest disruption for the future of work."
But if we truly want to make our country a better place, then it is necessary to talk about this question in detail.
Because in order to fulfil our dreams, it is necessary to dream first.
How should our country be?
What should be done about it?
For example some of the volunteer are made to work for 12 hours straight but they are not paid properly. Many reports have come out which show that police are seriously understaffed and overburdened in many states. The solution is simple, double the number of police personnel. If we talk about courts and judges, it's the same...
No one will be allowed to work more than 8 hours a day. There will be sufficient police force to manage high workload. All vacancies will be filled. Corruption will end. Every work will be carried out by honesty and integrity. Because of this, every citizen will respect the police, they will feel gratitude...
So there are many areas to look into where two birds can be killed by one shot. While employing people in right vacancies that will not only solve the unemployment but also improve the moral as well as mental health of youth of the nation.
