SEC-S5:W2 - Let's talk about animals

Hello friends,

Today I'm going to speak about animals and our lives. So I thank the community for giving the chance to express ideas of the animals and its behaviour.

What is or are your favorite animal(s), indicate why.

As a girl I really love animals. I love almost all pet animals like cats, dogs, squirrels, rabbits and hamsters. But I mostly like cats and Dogs.

I love pets as they are so cute. Animals need a residance and they also need food, shelter and love. I love cats as they have lots of fur on them and they are like bunnies. Cats need a lot of attention and affection. I love to treat animals and feed them.

Sometimes when I feel lponely i play with my cats. They love to sleep on my feet and also they play with small paper balls that I make. The way they love me and the way they make my day. I appreciate always how the pets relax our mind.

The dogs are also good guards for us as people. They protect us from enemies. I have heard stories about how Dogs love children. The dogs have fought against snakes and rescued children from danger.

Do you have pets at home, how did they come to the family, what are the reasons for not taking care of them?

I have 4 cats at home. Mother cat and three kittens. One cat is a female cat baby and other two baby cats are males. All live happily. We live near the town so many cats and dogs come to our lane searching for food. So one day a cat came to our house for foo. From that time this may be the 8 th generation of the cats at home.

We mostly welcomed the cats and feeded them. My parents also loved the cats. I or my family never buy cats from shops. Instead of buying We adopt street cats. We give all needed medicine and food to the cats and look after them carefully.

There many cats and dogs who don't have a shelter. They live in the weekly fair building. We and two other aunties cook food for them time to time daily. How ever we don't keep them in hunger. We have no space at home to adopt all the cats and dogs but we adopt few and also treat all other cats and dogs in town.

What are the possible benefits and risks of having a pet at home.

Having a pet at home is a relax for our mind as I spend time with them when I feel stressed or lonely. Having good guard dogs at home is really good for the security of the house.

The most important thing is the risk of having a pet at home. When we adopt pets first we need to give proper medicine for the pets and also make sure to give vaccinations on time. Then the children at home are secured while the animals are healthy too.

There are places where pets are adopted but in our country there are only a handful of places as such. In our area we don't have pet rescue places. As human beings we should love animals.
