From the moment our eyes open and we get out of our beds to the moment we go back on top of our beds and we close our eyes, there are a lot of activities that are ongoing. Some of them we make memorable, the others we just overlook.

There can be things that can be of remembrance but we don't consider them worthy of remembrance so we ignore them. But one thing is certain, we remember things that give us good emotions such as joy, and bad emotions such as pain. During this time our mental faculties focus on these emotions, so we can remember them even for a very long time.

I am a new member of the Steemit platform and I have barely finished writing my achievement posts (I'm currently at achievement 5.3). When I asked the person that introduced me to Steem, @theopportunist, for a platform where I can make some earnings online, I never imagined it was something as tedious as writing. Worst still, I am going to be writing every day.

This is a very new thing to me because the only time I have engaged in extended writing was during my time in school. I thought that after school I would come out and stop writing that much. Oh was I wrong!

One day @theopportunist asked if I have heard of a daily diary, and my response was No! So he said it is an activity that is practiced on the platform and it is taken very seriously. He said that it is one of the ways to keep yourself engaged with Steemit and also make your account very active. He also said that it is one of the ways that you can earn on the platform

So I went ahead to look at how the daily diary is being done. What I saw wasn't even what I expected, talking about when you woke up, how you woke up, the cloth you wore when you woke up, and things like that. I even saw some people brushing their teeth and writing about it, it was a bit weird. But I will have to do it anyways.

I haven't done any diary post yet, but will do one soonest. I have only written few random topics. But then this has helped loosen me up to some extent. There are things that I have began to notice, I realize that I now remember things quickly. it also started to give me ideas on things to write on. Before now I was always lacking in ideas on so many things. I also try to write down things I hope to accomplish for the day and see if I can accomplish them. And if I do, it gives me joy knowing that I have been able to achieve something for the day.

But one thing I also noticed is that sometimes I get easily bored. This boredom is due to the fact that there is a repetition of activities in my day or there's not much in the day to spark any memorable emotion, so nothing excites or touches me.

Another thing is the issue of posting personal pictures online. I'm a very reserved person and I don't usually feel comfortable posting my pictures online, not even the things within my surroundings. I personally feel it is a risk taken as you begin to expose yourself to a lot of strangers.
