I was reviewing the news and conversations on twitter a bit, there I found something that reminded me because in Venezuela we tend to have so much distrust of officials who should be public servants dedicated to citizen security, the text said:
for "This PNB Officer who robbed a working person and even shot into the air yesterday at the Parque del Este station (Miranda) was captured along with another uniformed criminal from the same police force by Poli-Chacao. Our police officers are ashamed of the world .. "
Yes ... as you read, a female police officer attached to the "Bolivarian National Police" police force in the capital city of Venezuela, Caracas, was captured while committing an assault with theft, with a service firearm, shooting in a public place (subway, underground transport station or Caracas Metro) and when you review the comments and look a little more for the news you find out that he is not the only victim nor is this his first time robbing defenseless citizens with his weapon and uniform ...
for When I read it the first time, I still gave it the 'benefit of the doubt', after all it would not be the first time that a case was invented against an official and it turned out that it was some criminal gang associated with their superiors who wanted to 'clean it up' for Some reason. But, when seeing that other people commented that she used to dock with her regulation weapon near the Metro station "Los Cortijos", in the vicinity of the television station of Channel 8, because with that my level of doubt has decreased pretty. It is not enough to totally condemn her, but it inspires me more and more distrust as the number of accusers and the allegations of her participation in other robberies or armed robbery attempts increases.
In short, if true, this would be one more reason to remember that in many countries you have to be careful and fearful of the armed security forces, if necessary they can assault or kill you and then put a weapon on you or say that you tried to take away the regulation weapon ... it is terrible, but one gets to hear in public transport that it is preferable to be assaulted by a criminal (or thug) than to be assaulted by a police officer, because the latter can even lock you up and then demand that your family They pay him to release you (like a kidnapping), he can even keep you locked up even if they pay, to take out of your family as much as possible every month, no matter how you manage to survive in the hell that is the prisons in Venezuela.
