Yes it is necessary to read before writing a comment. This will shows us the style and context of writer.
We will get the point of view of writer.If someone is commenting on articles or blogs without reading than this would be considered as spam and this is prohibited in steemit.This is disrespectful for anyone.
Is commenting just repeating things that have already been written? Or is it referring to something else? What do you think about this? |

Same type of comments is not a good habit. In this way because every post or article is different and it's context is different.The purpose of comment is to engage with other users and make discussion which is useful for other users. If we do this this will definitely increase insights and valued the time. We should be relevant to text without thinking about either it's useful or not.
What should a comment contain for it to be attractive, interesting, or to make you want to go see what that person writes? |

An engaging comment is that which is relevant to topic for example if an article is on health the comments should be related to it nor sports.Your comment must show that you have read it and understand the theme of writer and reply accordingly.You should add question or new or alternative thoughts on it.Just make things clear and easier ,avoid from confusion.Try to share your personal experience.

I make several comments, honestly I haven't count. The question either I got reposnee or not it that, sometimes got response and sometime Sometimes I simply write Thank you and comments like that.So, people don't think to reply on such comments.
When I commented some informative and research base than people replied me. From my point of those steemians who comment continuously on others posts and replied back even to single word are most active and most rewardable than those who are seasonal birds.

From now I will try to more comments as I can do.

Hacer comentarios son importantes pero debemos de leer bien antes de hacerlo porque puede ocurrir como mencionas estamos hablando de salud y de repente en los comentarios nos hablan de deporte y otra cosa, allí nos damos cuenta que ese usuario no se tomo el tiempo de leer y dejar un buen comentario reflexivo.

I think logic should lead us to read a post first, in order to know the author's point of view, which will allow us to make a good comment on the topic presented in the post and this will avoid spam comments that are prohibited on the Steemit platform. .
