Welcome to my blog!
Narrating those daily follies is the best way to laugh out those crazy moments we passed through without having to hold on or be trapped in the action. Follies are part of humans, as they are bound to happen. We have ensure thisndoes not cost us more than necessary we could bear
I have witnessed this countless times, and what I've come to understand is that they are not necessarily our making. They sometimes occur because of pressure, stressful moments, and also distractions from loss of concentration. It's amazing how they happen and we would only but hissed and moved on.
I would narrate two scenarios that happened recently and how crazy the second was. On a Tuesday morning, usually, it is work time, and I had wanted to also purchase a ziplock baggage to help me do a waybill for my sibling who stays in another city. Funnily, when I was going, my spouse intentionally reminded me of it, and when I headed out, I was on the phone trying to make a call.
I ended up driving past this superstore where I was expected to purchase the ziplock bag. Coincidentally, I was on the phone talking with the same person who reminded me of this purchase. When she waited to hear that I'd stopped to get and wasn't getting that feedback, she asked me again to remember what I needed to get along my way to the office. I screamed so loud, and she busted into laughing hard at me. She muttered some words, saying, "I know it, I said it...".
At this time, I was already a few miles away from this superstore, and making a U-turn would bring about many inconsistencies and difficulties for me. I just had to continue my journey while I made alternatives immediately. I ended up buying the wrong ziplock from another store which ended up wasting the little resources I had at that time. Sometimes, follies cost us our resources through unprecedented wastages.😌
The second scenario is a little unpleasant. We usually have difficulty disposing of house-use waste due to the nonavailability of any closer waste bins. This involves my carrying them in the trunk for disposal while heading out to work, especially on Fridays. It happened on that fateful Friday; I loaded the trunk with some baggage of waste.
I didnt know how to explain this, but all I could remember was that I was still carrying this decomposing waste in the trunk as at sunday. At first, I was confused and didn't remember putting any waste in the car that morning since I was heading to church service. I looked at my soouse, and said, this was the same waste baggage I carried on friday from the house. Am I saying I didn't thrash since then? I was speechless and felt really naughty.
At this point, there were maggots moving freely inside the trunk. The car interior was already filled with an offense odour. It was not an easy morning ride with me as I had to do little cleaning and disinfecting to stem down the bad odour before driving out. Sometimes, follies can bring discomfort and mood swing to the day's startup.
There are other petty follies encountered, but let me limit it to this duo.
