Steem and Hive are in a tough situation
Not matter how it started - I want to maintain community work and hope there will be still some great content creators and people driving engagement - music community also suffers from people leaving the Steem blockchain it seems.
I am a bit afraid what the future will bring for our community - fingers crossed it will be better, more fair and rewarding the good content creators, which is only a part of the blockchain. Let us join forces for a global movement including our friends from Korea in particular - the probably most blockchain and crypto minded guys on this planet!
Do we really need that separation or war between blockchains because of disputes? No! It becomes a kind of US vs. Asia conflict which is bullshit in my view!
Stop the blockchain war!

There's no users here any more man. I've done some research on my own posts and I have had 2 comments on my posts for the last 9 (since the HF) and one of those was mine!
So yeah, unless something changes, I'll probably be moving elsewhere. It's back to how it was when I first started and posting to a ghost town

I also see that even with the higher Steem/SBD price all people are rather using HIVE instead Steemit. I received few new followers over there, I found new people writing comments, number of upvotes and rewards are much higher. I am always on both channels, but feeling that somehow I am alone here and surrounded by people over there.

I probably will not be posting my music on Steem any more. The actions of Steemit and the witnesses they control have determined that. There are some new open mic challenges on Hive I am getting involved with. I have to go where the real community is.

That is true - I only feel we lose the Koreans on Hive, especially sad for Games such as Splinterlands. In general Koreans are the one investing into Crypto - this is what we never should forget.

They do seem to trade and invest a lot. Did a lot of them support Justin? I have to admit I have had very little interaction with Koreans on Steem. I see some posts in Korean, but don't tend to translate them. I know there were some of them at Steemfest in Lisbon. Seem to be a few Chinese and Korean posts on trending, but then some of them are buying votes like this guy. Very little vote buying happening on Hive.

I think most Koreans landed on the hive blacklist - given Koreans are huge investors I am asking myself, who should invest in Hive? The top guys are early Steem miners and hardly invested a lot - Koreans are different but if i would be them I probably would stay away from the other chain as of outlined reasons.
Also some folks do posts that are kind of racist against Koreans, even some of them bought votes or supported each other. Nothing different to the new Jesuses that made most of their stakes via bid bots and now behave the other way round - however both chains struggle and a war between them is bollocks.

I have nothing against Koreans. I think haejin is from there originally, but he is just a greedy idiot. They can be found everywhere. Cultural differences can cause people to fall out though.

The problem is also the crappy app on android. It just don't works. Just look at Amino app. This is how a community app must work. Hope steemit will fix it...
