100 days of steem.the diary game;07/07/2020. My tues-day

Hullo great people,I am well, thank you.so today was somehow a tiresome day for me but it ended well.
So,here is how my day went.
I woke up at 6:30am,prepared myself and my son because I was raking him to the dentist his tooth was paining.I reached there at around 10:00am,got to the dentist and he said he was going to remove my sons tooth but when we entered the room where those sharp tools were, alaas! My son cried even before he started.he ran outside the door and into the compound.he swore not to go back there.

I tried sweet talking him but nothing really worked and he told me he wanted to go home.
Literary, my day was wasted like that because I left the hospital at around 3:00pm and reached home at 5:00pm.

When he reached home he swore not to ever go back to the hospital that all dentists had sharp tools which hurt people, huuhhh!
I tried to explain to him everything and he relaxed.

It was coming to 6:00pm and had a meeting with my sister but that time traffic jam is too much so it took me 1hour to get to where she was and by 7:00pm which is the carfew time in Uganda but still wondering whether its really there or not because that's when most of the people are heading home so really I wish it can be adjusted,I was there.

Its always a wonderful time spent with family and I got to enjoy every bit of it.
Had fun.
We spent like 2hours together and we headed home.
Reached home at around 10:00pm and here I am telling you how my day went as I prepare to get some rest.

I think the Dentist should have first hide the place from your child view. As you know children aren't like adults who easily understand certain things. So far how are your plans to help solve his toothache problem after this has happened? You really did well to manage your way through the stressful nature of traffic jam to meet your friend. I ask, has this curfew persisted for long time or just recently the authorities place on Ugandan's?

Thank you @oppongk,i will try talking to him about the dangers of keeping a tooth when it has to removed.

The carfew has been there since the lockdown started thats 3 and a half months ago.its starts at 7pm but because by that time everybody is trying to get home by carfew time, there is alot of traffic jam.
Thanks for your concern, support and restreem.
Stay well.

Hi @mariez. Sorry about your son's situation. Kids are so sensitive to painful staff. No wonder your son had to even run away coz he sensed it.

Any way the operation was for the good. Hope the teeth that were removed will grow again. I remember the day they removed one of my teeth.. Hehe.. It was not easy. So I can understand him.

Weren't you caught by the LDUs in that curfew time. You risked a lot. Those LDUs have killed lots of people. For me i try as much as possible to be home by 7pm.

Thanks so much for participating in the diary game. keep it up!!

Gdmorning @yohan2on,thank you.he didnt allow to go back inside.so i took him home.

Actually i have always reached home around 9pm but have never seen them stopping me.i guess they understand about the situation of traffic jam.

Thank you for taking part in The Diary Game on Steem.

We see scary things everyday. I remember the first day I went to the hospital, I was pretty scared of injection but I overcome it and it is now what I like.
If it is a mandatory thing to do, he needs to do it.
