The Diary game 19/09/2020

Hello diary,

By 7an this morning, i was up from my bed and immediately, i made up my bed, wash my face and brush my teeth. So today was the 19^th of september and i(we)
have been preparing for a musical concert titled "FESTIVAL OF HORNS" for the past one month. This program was meant to be a national program for Cameroon trumpeters and saxophonist but due to the circumstance that surrounded my city, many people where unable to attend the program. Secondly we didn't get an opportunity to practise as a group together, so practise was done individually.

After i made my bed, i prayed for the program, during my morning meditation moments. After then, i had to perfect my self on some songs so immediately i picked up my saxophone and started rehearsing the songs and before i could realise, it was already 9am and we agreed to meet up in the hall by 8am so we could clean the hall and also setup the sound for the event. So immediately, i drop my saxophone, had my bath, my breakfast and left for the program. Funny enough, When i got there around 10am, it was just about 11 persons present out of about 30. But never the less, that did not stop us as we continued setting up the sound and cleaning the hall.



After setting up the hall and the sound, we had a few moments of general rehearsal befor the program. So after the brief general rehearsals, i had to run back home to get dressed for the program. The dressing code was white.

The program was supposed to start by 2pm and end by 6pm, but due to delay in setting up instruments and the rest, it started by 4:30pm and ended at 7pm. Normally setting up of sound in this magnitube will required about 10 hours but we didn't had all that time. closing that late was not a good idea considering the level of insecurity in town and more to that, the restriction of commercial motor bike riders in some areas in town. Before it was even 7pm, the hall was almost empty because people had gone home and even thou we didnt do all the songs because of time, 1 thing we all aimed at was that Jesus be glorified. After the closing prayers was giving, i hired a taxi to take me back home and bt 8pm i was already in the house.
