Hello friends, how are you? Hope you are well and a human being. There are wars in many countries of the world today and human degradation in some countries. World Humanitarian Day is observed on 19th August. Today I will try to present my opinion about this day. I invite you @mahadisalim @sumayaorin @joshdavid to participate in this contest

World Humanitarian Day 19 August. The term humane refers to human kindness towards humans and other life that works for human welfare. On August 19, 2003, 22 people were killed in a bomb attack on a hotel in Baghdad, Iraq. Based on this bombing, 5 years later, the United Nations General Assembly proposed and adopted August 19 as World Humanitarian Day.

The purpose of this World Humanitarian Day is to promote humanitarian work and human love for humanity. To create awareness among people so that people are tolerant and helpful towards others. World Humanitarian Day honors human beings and works to alleviate suffering. Teaches humanity to be compassionate in times of crisis.

Suggest and draw a mascot to represent the day.

War is not a solution, humanity is the real humanity

Give a brief description of your mascot.

The world today is in a state of war many children and women men are dying if we are humane and want to stop this war and establish peace our invitation to be humane is to all. If we want to make our world beautiful, we plant trees and not deforest so that we can maintain the balance of the environment.

What change do you think this day brought about in your community?

World Humanitarian Day is a day observed worldwide. It creates humanity in people and increases awareness. It is impossible to overstate how much of a difference it has made in my community. If I refer to the current situation in my country, it has undergone an unprecedented change. Last August 5, the government of our country fell and the economic and human life of the country was disrupted due to the corruption and injustice of the government. Currently our country is flooded but other people are behaving humanely towards the flood victims which makes me dream of a new Bangladesh where everyone is working together. What could be more humanitarian than students forming a fund for flood victims and rescuing them but people rescuing everything including their pets. I am proud to see such humanity of the people of my country. A strong network has been created between people.

Who are the active promoters and what do you think could be added to make more of an impact in your community?

Humanitarian Day was adopted by a resolution from the United Nations General Assembly. The United Nations plays a major central role for this day.

Humanitarian Day promotes more publicity and awareness through various humanitarian organizations such as the Red Cross Society.

An important means for government is if the government ensures equal rights to all in all areas such as treatment, rule of law, and fundamental rights.
Promotion by various actors and actresses can be a good advertisement for conducting humanitarian activities. Also campaigns among students and various other approaches can be adopted.

The purpose of Humanitarian Day should be to encourage people to consider themselves as humanitarians. To continue humanitarian efforts to achieve our long-term goals.
