Recently, I had the privilege of attending a worldwide communion service in my church so let me spill the gist about it because it was truly uplifting and spiritually enriching experience.

Sunday service started quite early than usual because of the Holy communion service, so I arrived the church early. The service began with a vibrant praise and worship session, where the entire congregation lifted their voices in adoration to God. The atmosphere was filled with joy and reverence as we sang songs of praise, setting the tone for the rest of the service. Thereafter, we entered into a powerful prayer session, where we brought our petitions before God, seeking His grace and guidance for our lives and the world at large.

After the prayer, the choir ministered, filling the sanctuary with their beautiful harmonies, ushering in a time of reflection and thanksgiving. I had the honor of reading the first Bible passage from 2 Kings 6:1-7, which tells the story of the miraculous recovery of the lost axe head.
The second reading, from the book of John 17:20-26, Acts 2:40-47, after which we sang a congregational hymn in unison, preparing our hearts for the sermon. The minister then delivered a brief but profound message on the topic of " That they all maybe one" reminding us of the importance of trusting God even in difficult circumstances.

The communion service that followed was a sacred moment of unity and remembrance. It began with a call from the moderator, to which the congregation responded in unison. Then the minister blessed the Holy Communion, we all partook in it, reflecting on the sacrifice of Christ and the significance of His body and blood.

The service then transitioned into the second phase of the prayer session, where we prayed for strength, healing, and protection. Afterward, we happily offered our offerings, showing our gratitude for God's blessings. The service concluded with a benediction, after which we took time to greet and embrace one another warmly before heading home, our hearts full and spirits uplifted.

It was a service that reminded me of the power of faith, fellowship, and communion, and I left feeling blessed and connected to both God and my community. I encourage all of you to participate in such moments of worship and communion, as they strengthen our spiritual walk and bring us closer together.
