My post will be divided into 3 sessions beginning with the morning session, the afternoon session and they evening session.

Morning Session

Wake me up at about 6 a.m, I did my little morning prayer thanking God Almighty for his excellent preservation ova my life. When done I did a little cleaning at the level of my room then went to the market to buy some foodstuffs for the week.
I got back from the market by 8, so I got myself ready for church as it was a Sunday. My siblings and I left for church by and arrived the church meilleur by 9:15 due to the difficulty of getting a taxi from small soppo to federal quarters.

The church service ended by 12 and we all greeted one another as it should be. From there we headed home. Due to the difficult nature of getting a taxi in Federal Quarters, we had to trek. This is because about 97.2% of the people in this area are big personalities so they all have not less than 3 different vehicles in their various homes. So as a result, taxi's do not frequent the area often cuz one may not even have a single passenger.

Afternoon Session

I was quite in a hurry on my way home because we were to have a fashion show at alliance Franco. We were instructed to be there by 11 am but I couldn't respond to that time. My friends were already calling me to know my whereabouts. So I got home, changed, picked up my shoes and zapped out. This is because as a model u only need to bring your different shoes so as to have options to wear with the designers outfit.

I got to the place by 1:20 and was surprised to see my cousin was the lady in charge of the make-up. So I took the opportunity to introduce her to the models emphasizing that they call her for all their make-up related occasions because she is the best.

By 2, it was now time for the Afro Sustainable Fashion Show which was more of an exam whose aim was focused on the exhibition of participants designs that was created from waste fabrics.

It was a pretty colourful and creative event with lots of wonderfully made designs.

Here was the Battle Cry Collection by Catherina Nathang the founder of the Afro Sustainable Fashion Show. Her collection was based on a cry for peace in our country cameroon. As she created this from her home blinds which she bought but couldn't use because they were short. So she transformed it to this beautiful collection. How creative one could be.

As a student fashion designer I was so excited to have partake in this because it gave me a greater hunger for the quest of this job.

Evening Session

We got finished with the program by 6 and it was quite pleasantry as I got to network and exchange contact with both designers and models with some other potential clients 🤭

From there a few of my friends decided that we close the evening with dinner at a nearby restaurant as we sat, ate, drank and discussed our future plans and how to tackle them.
That was how my day ended and indeed it was the best day of my week.
