It is said that; The future belongs to those who are young.
That statement is very true because young people still have a lot of advantages. Many old people wish they could be young again to right the wrongs they failed to right while they were still young.
But thank God you are still young, to correct the mistake of the old people around you and from those you've listened to.
So, what do you stand to gain from being young?
_1. Better opportunities_
Many opportunities lay in the hands of those who are still young. This is because, they have the capacity to perform better than the old. Opportunities to go out of one country to the other country. Opportunity to move from one town to another, and the opportunity to go places that you can stay for long without bothering about family or health.
2. Time.
Time is a scarce resource. But you know what? You got it. Yes. You are still aging, meaning there is so much you can fix to avoid the regrets of tomorrow. Time to get a good spouse, good job, good location, invest, makes mistakes and learn.
3. Informed decisions and choices.
When someone is old, they take decisions considering the threats it will come with because they don't want to inconvenient others. They also take decisions based on how it will benefit them at that moment. But because you are young, you can decide to make decisions from which you may benefit but at old age.
4. Fresh mind
A fresh mind can absorb so much knowledge and ideas. A fresh mind can think creative and innovative concepts that may bring long them profits and change their lives for ever.
5. Strength
You can go far. You can do tough things. You can treck, run, jump and push. You can dare.
So, make use of this time and season of your life. Go closer to the old people and learn from their experiences and regrets. This will shape your life and help you avoid the mistakes they made.
But as you do this, remember that life in itself is short. So, take nothing for granted.
