In this todays world where evil is on the increase and selfishness is what motivates, do we still have faithful partners, who stick to a single person at a time, and not compromise their stand for what ever benefits?

So, I had a chat with some young people who gave me a good number of reasons why people cheat or double date. To some of them, cheating is a normal thing and they have made-up their minds to accept it that way.

Question:
WHY DO PEOPLE DOUBLE DATE??

The responses I got 👇👇👇👇

👉 They want to make selection of what will best suit them . some because they don't have Faith in their relationship. Others keep more than one because they want to make much money before settling with one man ( in the case of women), For others they can't cope with one man, following their past life.

👉 They think that their worth or confidence is proven by the number of partners they have. ✍️

👉 For backup 😹😹 In case option A changes their mind, you'll quickly move on with option B.

👉 They are not satisfied: Some people double date in relationships because they don’t get complete satisfaction from one person. Dissatisfaction could come in various forms; it could be in the area of finance, intimacy, compatibility etc.

👉 Some will even defend that they are double dating a rich guy to use the money to care for the guy they love who doesn't have money. 😹😹😹😹

👉 _Most youths special girls who do not want to work believe double dating will increase their source of income 🤨, n also prove to their mates that they are Brave. So, the guys have ladies for different needs.

👉 Many also think keeping many people around you proves hw beautiful, handsome and qualified they are that everyone is dying behind them.

👉 Some also keep it in case thunder fire one, they won't be that hurt

👉 Lack of focus and purpose. Many get into relationships without knowing who they really want so there are trying to keep everyone around them just for the sake of keeping themselves funky. If you don't know yourself, you won't know who you need, so you'll want to keep everyone to choose at the end🤦‍♀️

👉 Some boys want to break records, so they decide to date many girls to prove to their friends that they can get any girl they want.

👉 It's in their blood. They are born cheaters who can't change no matter how beautiful, intelligent, and committed their partner is.

👉 They see dating as a way of catching fun, so they move around gathering fun partners.

So, those are some of the many reasons why people cheat.
Are these reasons enough and also convincing for someone to indulge in cheating??

The unclear part of it is how normal it has become among people such that you'll hear statements like: All men are cheats or scam. then the men will respond that: All ladies are cheats and pretenders.

I saw a question on facebook yesterday and the person asked...... 5m or a faithful man??

Almost everyone said, there's no faithful man so, they'll take their 5m 🙆‍♀️🙆‍♀️🙆‍♀️🙆‍♀️
How did we get here???
How did we come to see this as OK?
Cheating and insecurity is one of the leading cause of failures in relationships and marriages today.
