I would love to share my view on this contest. But before I proceed fully, I would love to salute the creator of this contest, the supporters of the awards and my fellow Steemians. 2024 was indeed an impactful season. I must applaud for that 👏👏.

Yes! It wasn't smooth throughout—there were storms and braces of all kinds. God gave me victory.

I took this picture with another phone, and it was transferred to me through WhatsApp

On this fateful day 23rd November, 2024, I decided to pre-launch my happiness with a friend of mine. We just dismiss from lecture, and to make it memorable, we had to take some snapshots. I wasn't handsome on the picture, and you'll see the tails of sweat beating on me hardly. But I won't say, it was a bad time. No! It was part of my good days.

On 15th June, 2024; I was in the biology laboratory with my friend learning some practicals. This movement had been my earnest expectation ever since I gained admission into Benin Republic University. I have been hunting to have a spacious moment like this with other students, and also build the scope of my knowledge practically.

So, during our Industrial training period, I and some others were posted to a well-recognized school in Nigeria which happens to be one of the best Technological school in West Africa: Federal University of Technology Akure [FUTA] Ondo state, Nigeria.

The experiments we were carrying out that day was to find out plant extracts that could be used as a substitute in the absent of certain alreadly-made drugs like paracetamol, ampiclox and etc. So, after incubating our exercise work, there was an unveiling that, only few percent of the plant extracts could be used as substitute in the absents of paracetamol or etc.

This was my first time in FUTA, so I had to honour it with a picture. I also took other pictures, but this one will be more helpful in this contest.

The bad

On 30th December, 2024; I decided to capture this image so I can remember the state of it when I'm financially stable. Lack of money in my pocket actually dealt with me tremendously. There comes a time when I was totally broke, I had no money in my pocket and I could remember sipping garri for survival for a whole day.

So, I was built in a way that it's better for me to find something doing than to beg. So, I had this friend of mine who work in places like this as shown in the picture. They call it Pure water Company. The initial agreement was for them to pay me 18,000 naira per week and I was happy. But, after I started the work, I discover that in a single day, I would be working like an Elephant's and then been paid like an ants.

I worked for complete one week and I felt total discomfort. My backbone experience readjustment, sévère pains that reflected on other part of my body. I was sick for complete four days without eating something relevants. To God be the Glory, after I recover myself, I ran away from the work. I discovered that the work was an heavy-kind of work that will drain my body battery. So it was really bad on me.

The Ugly

On 11th December, 2024. This was when I had this experience. I had engage in diverse kind of presentation, but not this kind. On this day, I was the presenter, the speaker and the narrator of the topic given to me: The Influence of Aspergillus Fumigatus. I thought fitting myself to a suit will liberate me from certain lecturers questions, I didn't know fitting myself to a suit was a push on them.

My God! I was sweating inside of me while striving to win their heart with the questions they served me.

Aspergillus Fumigatus is everywhere around us. The spore travels on the air we breathe. And this spore affects mostly our lungs, and if the alveoli macrophages (white blood cells) are not active, they will harm our lungs and there can produces lungs cancer.*

This is why I would advised all my Steemians here to always enclose their nostrils with masks to avoid the absorption of this spread.

In conclusion, I believe I have been able to share my views on how good, bad and ugly my 2024 was. I hope and believe God for a better 2025 experience. Thanks for reading.

I invite @bossj23, @etette and @eglis to participate and also add constructive comments. Thanks
