INTRODUCTION

Hello beautiful family, how is the going? We have finally left January and now in February. Happy new month to you all. We are in the month of love. Sincerely, it feels good to be alive despite what we go through. I believe when there is life, there is hope. So let me gist you how my last day in January went.

MORNING ACTIVITIES

This day was supposed to be a school day, or let me say, it was a school day but the students were given 1 day holiday because my boss elder brother died, so we, his staff members were mandated to go for the burial dressed in our Friday wears. We were asked to meet in school at the official time which was before 7:15am even though we left around 9am. So I had to wake up as early as 5am to prepare, I bathe, also warmed rice and took it with me. I left the house at about 6:30 and arrived school at about 7:10am. Immediately I arrived, I signed the time book and settled down to eat my breakfast as I was very hungry.

Doing justice to it

The burial was in another local government, Etim Ekpo, and it took us about 45 minutes to get there. When we got there, they were just taking the corpse to the church and we saw the family members moving to the church. We joined them, abd since the space was not enough inside the church, we had to sit on a canopy outside while viewing the live coverage of it.

AFTERNOON ACTIVITIES

In the afternoon, the corpse was taken to the burial site where only family members and the choresters were allowed. Others had to go to the reception venue which wasn't far away. There were different reception venues for different set of people. We had our own place fir reception and we had enough food there with drinks. I are rice and also afang and fufu.
