LEARNER'S GUIDE Vol. 3 - How to Apply Basic Mark Downs tricks in Content Creation on Steemit.

Hello Steemit Friend, Merry Christmas and a prosperous new year in advance. I hope the festive season isn't that traumatizing as I see it presenting itself? Please be more alert now than ever before as the rate of stealing, cheating and accident is on an increase... And above all, never forget to pray before going out for whatever reason.

Today we are having Vol. 3 of our learner's guide on how to apply markdown tricks in content creation on steemit. Our main focus today will be on table formation.

TABLE CREATION

In other to create a table in a content in Steemit, you need to use the following characters: | (pipe), and a - (hyphen). This characters enable components to be separated from one another within the formation. Hyphens' separate the various headers within the table, whereas pipes separate the various columns in a table. For your table to be completely form, make sure to leave blank spaces in between the lines. Do the following.

The misunderstanding I used to have when struggling to create a table was that I used to think that everything in the cell most be align. That was a myth, don't fall for it please. There most not be an alignment within columns. But the number of hyphens' within a column most not be less than three (3) in a header row.

FORMATTING WITHIN A TABLE

Since table creation has to do with content, formating it is as necessary as formatting other stuffs in content creation. You can format the following: links, inline code blocks, text styling etc. How to do it

You can either decide to align information in your table to be to the left, or to the right. This can be done by using : (colon) as the markdown trick. See how to do it below

You can also include other markdown tricks within the content of your table. This is very tricky because some may instead want to apply to the content in your table. In this case you need to use a backlash (\) before the markdown character. See how I have applied it below.

Table creation is one of the most challenging trick to apply in content creation, but not an impossible challenge. If you can use the examples slated above effectively, you can create tables of varying sizes.

The trick we used above is not the lone trick that is use in table creation. Among the many others, it's the simplest.
