My dear steem Cameroon, Community space members, i wish to share with Community members an experience today that got me so embarrassed to find a stream of spotted school students from some renowned schools in Bamenda city, returning home. It is alleged that the schools administrators had to close the students due to the threats posed by the insecurity from the warring parties of the Anglophone crisis affecting the north west and south west of Cameroon. What I don't understand is; the lockdown ended and everybody, especially the pupils and students were so excited to go back to school especially after staying at home for a very long period of time, made worst by the two week lockdown posed by the separatist fighters. One could understand that, but today and the last few days posed a series of questions to be answered. However information got to me that effective classes will only take place as from September 3rd, 2024.
The truth here is that school resumption date still remains unpredictable. And one can only advice here that parents should watch their children closely to avoid unfortunate unforseen circumstances. Meanwhile school administrators should watch closely and inform the parents and students on possible development to the effective school resumption date to avoid any possible irregularities that could be detrimental to the pupils and students.
Permit me implore on the steem Cameroon space Community members to pray for a lasting dialogue that can stop this untold suffering affecting our Community.
