What were your goals at the beginning of the year? (Explain)

At the beginning of every year, everyone sets certain goals that they want to achieve. Like everyone else, I was also very hopeful at the start of this year, thinking it would be better than the last one. I wanted to grow, improve my skills, and secure my future. So, I set some goals for myself, which I had shared in a Steemit contest earlier this year.

One of my main goals was to learn WordPress through an institute, but I made some changes based on the advice of my teachers. They suggested I focus on web development and Android development, as it would be more beneficial for my studies. So, I decided to do a course in Android development.

Another big goal I set was to earn 5000 SP on Steemit before the end of the year. I hoped that achieving this would give me a good reputation on the platform. I wanted to support other users with my votes and receive good recognition and votes from others in return.

Lastly, I also set a personal goal to improve my health, specifically to stop my hair fall. My hair was falling out a lot, and some areas of my scalp were even becoming bald. I decided to take better care of my hair by doing regular oiling and avoiding chemical products, hoping to stop the hair fall and encourage regrowth.

"How far have you gone with the goals you set at the beginning of the year?"

Yes, if I talk about my goals and how far I have come, I would say that things didn’t go exactly as I had planned. The first goal, which I considered the most important, was to complete the Android development course. However, it didn’t turn out as I had hoped. The course was very difficult for me, and the teachers were not very helpful or focused on teaching properly.

Sometimes, we would go to the institute only to find out we had the day off, and they weren't teaching us well. This left me feeling very demotivated, and I regretted spending my money on it.

I tried to learn what they taught, but it wasn’t enough. I had high hopes for the Android development course, thinking I would become a skilled developer, but the lack of motivation and support made it very hard for me. Eventually, I decided to stop the course.

After that, I focused more on Steemit, where I had been active even before starting the course. Since my Android development goal didn’t work out, I spent more time on Steemit, thinking I should not waste my time. Steemit gave me an outlet to spend my free time productively.

There started teaching team contest on Steemit related to web development, and this motivated me to start learning web development. I learned HTML and CSS, and now I’m working on PHP.

So, even though things didn’t go as I had originally planned, I found myself going in a different direction that I hadn't expected, but I am hopeful that I will become a good web developer.

As for my second goal of achieving 5,000 SP on Steemit, I have reached over 3,000 SP so far. Though reaching 5,000 SP by the end of the year seems difficult, I am close, and I am very happy with the progress I have made. I now have a reputation of 70, and that makes me proud. I hope that if I keep working hard and receiving good votes, I might still achieve this goal by the end of the year.

Lastly, my personal goal of improving my hair health has thankfully been achieved. I have been taking good care of my hair, and the hair fall has reduced significantly. My hair is starting to grow back in the areas where it had thinned, and this makes me very happy. I am trying my best to continue taking care of myself.

How favorable are the “ber” months treating you?

These “ber” months haven't been as favorable as I expected. I try to stay active on Steemit, but lately, I've been feeling very demotivated. I'm not able to focus much on my studies either, and though I usually stay motivated, my energy has been low recently.

I feel quite down, and I can't figure out what's going wrong or what I should do for my future. Sometimes, I lean towards one path, but I can't seem to find a clear direction. At times, I think I should stick with web development, but then I worry about wasting my time if I don’t get a job in that field because I really want to become independent.

Do you think the “ber” months are enough to rewrite goals?

No, according to me, the "ber" months aren't enough to set new goals because the year is almost ending, and there's not much time left to achieve new targets. However, if I have already set some goals earlier, I can focus on completing those. Setting a new goal requires time, and it's important to give ourselves enough time to achieve it.

We can't set big goals with little time. We need to trust ourselves and understand how much time we need to complete a goal. So, for now, I think it's best to stick to the goals I've already set and work on them to finish as much as I can.

How do you manage pressure during the “ber” months?

Yes, I do feel quite strange because sometimes I think I’ve set too many goals, and it makes me feel demotivated. Along with that, I also have the stress of studies, exams, assignments, and presentations. I have to manage so many things, and I’ve also set goals for Steemit, where I’m working hard.

I also want to improve my skills, especially in web development, for which I have set goals that I want to complete. All of this makes me feel burdened during these months. To manage the stress, I try to relax by watching movies, enjoying my favorite meals, and going out for lunch with friends.

Spending time with them helps me a lot; we laugh, talk, and share things. My friends motivate me too. My family is always there to support me and encourage me to do better🌼🌸.

That's it from today's blog I hope you will like it. With best wishes ❤️. Now I like to invite @aviral123, @tripple-e and @abdul-rakib to participate in this amazing contest.

Hello @hudamalik20, it was great going through your write-up. In all, it's quite motivating.
I would first of all like to congratulate you for never stopping after a shortcoming. Your finding your groove after facing disappointments with studying Android development, by seriously engaging into steemit activities and falling in love with web development is amazing. That's the spirit of a fighter.
Equally, I'm glad to hear that your hair health is falling into place once again. Coincidentally, early today i made a post on hair growth with an insight into scalp massage which you can find here. Maybe a tip or two in there could be useful to keep pushing your goal.
Lastly, i wish to encourage you to keep crushing your goals and never stop setting new ones, because i think that's one very good way of staying relevant.

Good luck in all.

Upvoted. Thank You for sending some of your rewards to @null. It will make Steem stronger.

Going through your contest post, I would conclude You are a go-getter. Your aspiration to achieve the high feet of 5000 SP is commendable and believe me with hardwood and smart moves here, you will surely get it.

It is true that sometimes our goal might look so mighty to the point that the eyes might feel discouraged but when we are determined to get, we will surely get it, it all depends on how we want to look at it.

Best of luck my friend.
