My Last Sunday On 2024

Firstly, I want to thank my Almighty Father, Jehovah, for the gift of life and protection throughout my busy day, I also hope you have a great and adventurous day, I'd like you to tell me that in the comments section, now, in this context, I want to highlight to you how my Sunday goes in words and in pictures, I know you will like it.

MORNING AND AFTERNOON ACTIVITIES

Since it was Sunday, the last day of the week, I had no work, no appointments, only going to church and praising God, and our Christian meeting is usually held at 10:30 a.m., so I had more time for myself. Because of that, I didn't bother to get up early; I was in my bed till 8:40a.m, until I started feeling hungry.

All this while I was in my room I didn't notice that there were certain things I needed to do before going to our Christian meeting other than just my normal morning duties which included; sweeping and keeping the compound clean, **I also noticed that because of the current electricity issues in our community, we were unable to pump our water for days, which makes us out of water to do our morning chores, I needed to go fetch some water from other neighbors.

However, it was when I was out in search of water that I realized it wasn't only me in this situation, many people were out of the water so they needed to look for it, and also in the area where we were staying there no place or shop that sells water since almost all the compounds have their water, so when it's happens like this we have no choice than to go to our fellow neighborhood who has water I fetch from there.

After I fetched a few buckets, it was okay for everyone to take their bath, wash plates, and do other necessary stuff. Since the time was on me there wasn't much time to spend, so I hurried up and ironed my clothes which I would wear, did my normal morning routine such as brushing my teeth, eating breakfast, taking my bath, and many more, get dressed and leave for the meeting, although I was hurrying, I leave the house at 10:23a.m which is very bad.

I arrived at the kingdom hall at around 10:35a.m I missed some parts of the worship, like the opening song and prayer. Although I was late I was able to understand everything he was preaching about because I paid attention. After the public talk was the watchtower study I was involved in this one. My duty was to rove the microphone; when the watchtower conductor asked the members a question, it was my duty to take the microphone to them so people would hear what they were answering loud and clear.

The Christian meeting went well and was successful; I was then able to partake in the closing song and prayer just as I wanted. After the closing meeting, there was still other work that needed to be done, preaching; since it was the last Sunday, we didn't go from house to house preaching. Instead, we were visiting our Bible students and continuing our studies with them. I wasn't so lucky because all the Bible students I had weren't at home, and that made me closer to preaching earlier than I used to.

EVENING ACTIVITIES

Coming back home, I was feeling exhausted because of the long walk and hot sun, so I wanted to take some rest, but I couldn't. My phone was off on my way back from the preaching service, so I needed to charge it. I couldn't just leave it off as there was a lot of content I needed to prepare and post. There were challenges: all the shops nearby where I used to charge my phone did not open, and even some filling stations did not open; where would I charge the phone? Also, I was tired, so making the phone stay on was challenging.

As I was still thinking of where I would charge my phone,e I heard my dad calling me; he asked me to wash his car so he could go out with me. I did as he said without hesitation, knowing well that I would also benefit from it. It was around 4:10 p.m., and my dad was about to go out,t so I joined him and moved up to the main road; there,e I saw a betting shop and went there to check if there was any space left.

Unfortunately, to my surprise,e there were, so I charged my phone there. But there are always precautions that need to be followed when changing your phone in a betting shop,just have it in the back of your mind that your photos are not saved there, so you must make sure your eyes are on it if you do not want to get a new one, and that what I did.

It was in the betting shop. I heard that there was a football match between two families, nun Nanyang, and Nnun Essien; the match was a huge one as it was the final match between the two best families. Since I was busy charging my phone, I wasn't able to get the on time, but I'll still tell you about it.

The game was tough as two champions clashed together to eliminate the other and go home with the trophy. Nnun Essien's family led the match in the first half as they scored their first goal. As a result of too much tension in the field, Nnun Essien wasn't able to secure their goal anymore as Nnun Inyang equalized the ball in the second half.

Till full-time, there was nothing to separate the two sides, so they went to a penalty shootout. The first person to take the penalty was nun Essien, and he missed, followed by Nnun Inyang, but he was saved by the keeper. The remaining four from Nnun Essien made it successful, but one from Nnun Nanyang missed again, putting an end to the game and leaving the trophy to Nnun Essien.

After spending some hours there I now went back home, took my shower, ate my dinner, and got to bed
