I was just a curious reader, captivated by the worlds woven within the pages of books. My affection for stories started in childhood, when my mother would read to me every night. Those moments sparked my imagination, sowing the seed of storytelling deep within me. As I grew older, I began scribbling my own tales in a worn out notebook, inspired by the adventures I read about. At first, they were just short stories, often about fantastical realms or daring heroes. My friends encouraged me to keep writing.
In high school, I surrounded myself with other aspiring writers.
After my graduation from the university, I ventured into graphic design and printing. The struggle of building my business and brand in printing field almost quenched my love for writing, but as a passionate writer, I kept creating posts in some social media platforms though only at my leisure time.
It was a typical morning of 19th October, 2024 when I decided to check on my friend @megareigns. As we settled on his sitting room, he excitedly opened his laptop. "You have to check this out" he said, his eyes gleaming with enthusiasm. "What is it?" I asked, curious. "STEEMIT! It's a crypto platform where you can showcase your writing skills and share things instantly" he explained. I had heard whispers about it but hadn't paid much attention.
@megareigns created an account for me, guiding me through the setup process. "You can post contents, share your experiences, and even teach people your graphic design work," he added, his fingers flying across the keyboard.
