The Diary Game: Enjoying My Weekend [23/04/2024]

My friends, steemit greetings to everyone, are you enjoying the weekend already? Besides, how is this harmattan treating you? Because my legs are always on stockings for the past few days and early morning cold dey always wan kill me, okay let me leave pidgin for now, I am trying to say that the cold we experience early morning over here is always much and freezing at the same time. Let me share my Saturday right away.

Okay, Saturday is fun and believe me, weekend to me is the best part of my week, I just woke up from a long sleep, yea it was long because on Friday, I slept around 8pm due to stress, I didn't struggle today so I won't say that. When I got up from bed, I said some prayers to my maker then went outside to get myself water to drink first.

Morning chores these days are always kind of hard because I have to do everything by myself again since my junior brother left my apartment to start his new job. I stepped out to go get so stuffs for breakfast, just see handsome steemian na, okay the powder I rubbed last night is still there.

When I got myself the stuffs for breakfast, I came back and made custard then took it with half bread I had at home. It was really tasty, I can make food for Africa, believe me you would love it only if you had a taste of it but then, just see the picture here.

After taking breakfast, I wanted to do small laundry but was tired and I had an occasion to attend so I postponed it till Sunday. After eating, I took my bath and got dressed up so I could go to my friend's mom's burial, the issue we had was that the driver he contacted to take us to the village where the funeral was conducted failed to show up, I was disappointed, I felt I my friend would think I have disappointed him as well, so I made a call across to him to tell him of the situation, he totally understood, I am going to give him the money I should've used for transport immediately he is back from village.

When I was done with the call, I went to the nearby shop and bought milo coco pops, today is Saturday and weekend for that matter, so I amnot going to work or do anything, just to cook, eat and sleep and that is exactly what I did.

After taking the pops, I took my bath again to freshen up then went straight to bed, the weather was harsh so was inside my house but believe me I never cared, I switched on my Bluetooth speaker and jammed to Whizkid new album Morayo then slept off.

When I woke up, I felt like eating banana so I just went outside to go get for #400 naira which is equivalent to 1 steem then took it back to my room and ate it. After eating it, it was approaching evening time so I needed to prepare something for dinner and possibly something that will take me throughout Sunday so I went to the shop again and bought okra with other petty ingredients then prepared okra soup with atama, my favourite soup.

When I finished with the soup preparation, it was about 6pm, then I just stepped out and did not eat, went on a walk so I could sweat a little then when I came back, I took my bath and ate my soup with garri, see it here friends.

After eating, I went outside to stay and gist with my new neighbor while trying to onboard her on steemit, I don't know what's wrong with steemit, it's been days and no one has been able to sign up, maybe the team should look into it. After this, I sent back to my room, got my phone and did some airdrops then login my steemit account to vote and comment on people's post before sleep calls and right now I am sharing my diary, after this, I will be going to my bed and that will be all for today.
