The Transformative Impact Of Thankfulness

What's up guys, today, I have come with another topic I would like us to deliberate on and that is "gratitude". From my little experiences and happenings going around in the world, it is very important we address this particular topic and make it clear.

Gratitude is just as simple as it sound when explaining it, so we can say that it is an act of showing how grateful you are towards things done to/for you.

Alot of people are always vexed when this particular topic is raised because it triggers a thing or two in them. The thing is, the world has grown cruel to the point nobody cares about the little thing done for them, people just want the world to be brought to their feet before they can express their gratefulness, some won't even be grateful at all.

Being grateful isn't conditional, it is supposed to be done even to the meanest thing one has done for us, even the life we live, we should be grateful of, you never can tell the seas they had to cross before they had that done.

I went to the mall some days back to get something, so there was this lady in the queue, I don't know if she left her card at home as she had claimed but according to her, she left her card at home and forgot to carry it, she had already picked few things and was ready to pay when she realized she wasn't with her debit card. So there is this young guy that was behind her and asked what was the problem and she told him, so out of pity he asked the lady to drop few of the stuffs she picked so he can pay for her stuffs and pay for his as well. This lady was all angry and told the guy to his face that if he can't pay for everything he should forget about it.

I was sad about this and kept wondering if this is how cruel humanity is, sometimes people do things with so much discomfort hoping to atleast get a thank you but surprisingly, most people will even belittle your efforts, which is not supposed to be so.

Gratefulness makes one want to do more for us, they feel encouraged and appreciated, don't let ungratefulness makes you push potential future help away, it doesn't speak well of us. Together we can stop it little. Be grateful for life, be grateful for the little you have because where you are currently is someone else's prayer point. Stay humble and remember to be grateful.
