Unsung Heroes: Celebrating Parents' Selfless Love

Hi guys, do you know there are people we shouldn't joke with? And there are some advantages we enjoyed by virtue of our relationship with some people and some times we never really considered that as a blessing but then this was just an underated blessing. Please just permit me to tell you about parents because they deserve to be honored.

Today might not be parent's day but it's a day I have carefully sat down to think about the privileges we enjoyed because of our parents and the ones we are still enjoying till date. When I was a kid and adulthood never sets in, I was very picky when it comes to food and if I don't eat my choice food three times a day, I will cry so my parents will know I really needed it without even wanting to know if they have the resources to provide that thing or not.

Not even for a day will I see my father fold or my late mom shed tears because of being unable to provide for us, they made sure they provide and gave me the best of life while growing up, I never really knew what it means to feed someone and not just a person but a family of 10 comfortably, our parents are our heroes and heroines without cape.

Now that adulthood has set in, responsibilities has emerge and sometimes I will look back and see how it was compared to now, I just can't thank my parents much. These days providing for myself hits really hard talk more of providing for my family, so how come they pulled this off without complaining? They never stopped at providing just food, they gave us shelter, clothings and settled school bills without crying, how did they do all of these?

Our parents deserves to be celebrated in and out of season, I am sorry if yours is late like my mom but I keep talking of these unmatched effort in giving me and my siblings a better life. The truth is, I wouldn't be where I am today if my parents never laid the foundation.

Shout out to all the lovely parents out there, doing what they can, compromising in situations just to make sure the family is well taken care of, I am wishing you nothing but the best and peaceful family with kids that won't just obey you but see Christ in you. You will stay alive and enjoy the fruit of your labour. God bless all the responsible parents out there, keep taking care of your family and the good Lord will bless you... Amen!
