The Diary Game [11/04/2024] // A day full of activities and rainfall

Warm greetings to everyone around the globe. Please permit me to share my daily routine with you.

I started my day so early at 6am because I had so much to do, ranging from:

• Doing laundry
• Cooking rice
• Blending crayfish and
• Going to choir practice ❌

As I was about getting my brush and paste to clean my mouth, I not that my toothpaste has finished and I can't start going outside to buy it right away, I just have to do it the Nigerian way (smile).

I used scissors to cut the toothpaste open and make used of it, as there was still much inside the container. After brushing I went into the kitchen prepared food.

I was to cook Beans and Rice, I started by putting the beans on fire while it was boiling I sliced my onions and scent leaf that I wanted to use for the cooking.

After then I put the rice in the same pot with the beans and to parboil together till it's soft. So I removed it from fire to wash so I can put the necessary ingredients and cook proper.

I mixed everything and put the pot on fire to cook well, as it was boiling I use that time to prepare the dry fish by deboning it. As the rice was getting to dry I put the fish and also put the scent leaf that I sliced, then covered the pot for few minutes.

Few minutes later the food was done and I dished out what I will eat and went and enjoyed myself with cold water.

After eating my meal it was around 1pm, that was my first meal for the day. I relaxed a little so that the food can stepped down well in my system, before I went out to wash my cloth since the sun was still hot and shinning.

I removed my clothes outside as I begin with the washing, the clothes wasn't that much so I was able to finished up in time so that i can move on to another thing.

As I was done washing, I started selecting the crayfish, picking out the chaf off the crayfish, I have already placed it under the sun while I was busy doing the other chores. It has well dry and was even breaking in my hand.

I removed my manual hand blender to use in blending it since there was no electricity Light to use, besides I didn't want to use electric blender because I didn't want the crayfish to be in a powder form.

As I was trying to clean the blender I discovered that the hand has broken due to rust, maybe because I've not used it for a while or so. I was unable to blend it again with the blender, the only option was to use mortal to pound it and I even like it that way so that the crayfish will not blend to powder form.

I pound the crayfish within a short period of time, that was because the sun has dried the crayfish so well and made it easy to pound. So I used a container to package it well for my use.

I was done with that session at about 4pm, I went and freshened up because I was feeling heat and since it was also approaching time for my choir rehearsal, so I needed to get prepare so I can move.

After bathing and was trying to dress up the whole place was dark as the weather has changed and so cloudy, showing the sign of rain. I tried to hurry up so that I can leave the house before it starts falling but I was disappointed because the rain just started falling immediately and there was no sign of stopping soon, because I was just waiting for it to stop within 30 minutes or so bit no way, it rained till the hour of 7pm that was how i cancelled going to church for choir rehearsal.

That's why you see as I marked the choir practice ❌ since it wasn't actualized.

It was already late and I warmed my rice and dish and eat for dinner. After which I participated in a contest in steem kids and parents, I always upvoted and place a comment on others post, before I call it a day.
