Greetings Steem Mates,

I hope that this day has been a great one for all.

Today, I was honored with the opportunity to speak to the brilliant young minds of CBC Menda Nursery and Primary School in Bamenda, Cameroon.

I had the chance to remind our future leaders why school and learning (education) are important. We also discussed how to make the learning process more effective and enjoyable for everyone.

We talked about the importance of paying attention to their parents' advice, their teachers, and the things around them. I used the example of an eagle's focus as a metaphor for having a clear vision.

Next, we discussed how to make learning more enjoyable and effective through studying. I emphasized the importance of reading, including their classwork, the Bible, and other books. To illustrate this point, I shared the childhood story of Elon Musk, the world's richest man. I told them about how much Elon loved reading, having read all the books in his home library before the age of ten. I also mentioned his other incredible achievements, such as making Mars habitable for humans and developing a jet that can travel at the speed of light.

We also discussed the importance of curiosity and asking questions. I shared the story of Isaac Newton, whose question about a falling apple changed the world and made him one of history's greatest scientists. Young Isaac wondered, "If this apple fell from the tree, does that mean the moon is also falling?" This question opened up incredible scientific discoveries and changed the way humanity lives.

We also talked about time management. I told the kids that the difference between successful and unsuccessful people lies in how they spend their time. Successful people spend their time learning and working, while unsuccessful people do not. I encouraged them to make good friends who can help them use their time wisely.

To demonstrate the power of focus, I conducted an exercise called the "water and cup exercise." Two students volunteered: one held a cup filled to the brim with water, while the other stood 15 meters away. The student with the cup walked towards the other student, handing them the cup without spilling any water. As the participant walked, the crowd cheered.

This exercise showed that the participant was focused on the task of carrying the water without spilling it, despite the distractions. I told the kids that the water represented their future, the cheers represented the distractions of the world, and that to be successful, they must stay focused like the participant who carried the water.

It was an interactive experience, and I hope my words will help them on their path to success.

Let's keep building!
