Greetings folks!
Today presented me with another opportunity to inspire the next generation. I had a wonderful time discussing how to do better with the vibrant young learners of Providence Primary School, Bamenda.
I was accompanied by two of our recent trainees at the Texas Institute of Public Speaking. Rachel and Ramadane requested that I take them with me on my next speaking engagement for experience, so today we went to Providence together.
Due to time constraints, only Rachel got a chance to motivate the kids after my talk, and she did amazingly. She engaged the kids with a song and reminded them of the importance of health in achieving success.
She encouraged the children to make handwashing a routine, especially before eating.
Ramadane confessed to having learned a valuable lesson that would add another brick to his speaking skills, and he is the one behind these beautiful images.
I also had to speak with the teachers today but I rescheduled that for some other time because I barely made it to the talk with the kids. The issue is that since my illness, I haven't fully recovered but I have been doing a lot of speaking and it's beginning to take a toll on me.
Last night I called the headteacher of Providence and told him I wasn't going to make it to the school for obvious reasons. At the time when I called him, I had a terrible headache. I couldn't even look into my phone. It's been the case for some days now.
Early this morning I felt way better than I did yesterday so I reached out to the headteacher at about 5am to let him know I would be available for a talk with the kids.
Glory to God for the strength to be able to carry out the talk with the kids and for the fact that it went well. I am grateful. 🙏
I pray for healing 🙏
Let's keep building!
