AVOID EATING UNSAFE FOOD

in hive-195150 •  4 years ago

Often times ,we have not thought about the source or origin of the food we eat in occasions or the raw one that we buy in the markets.

Many people have been sick and do not realise that the cause of most illnesses is from the food they eat. The truth is that , many people do not pay attention often, to whatever enters their mouth. They just eat as long as they see food. Irrespective of the source of the food. We just eat for as long as it tastes good and looks delicious. But if we want to eat good secured food ,we must grow it organically, ourselves. Let's look at the example of cabbage grown on fowl droppings.

An area like Santa in the North West Region of Cameroon is typically known for its availability of assorted cheap vegetables, usually grown with fertilizers for fast results and consistent unfortunately, we have no food specialists or experts, checking on what is grown and how it is grown . In rare cases would some farmers check on the withdrawal period of used chemicals on plants. I will share about this topic soon . There is need to know how long it has to take before the crop is being harvested and supplied in the market after the use of chemicals. Many have bought food without a second thought as far as this is concerned. I have often thought my friends and fellow farmers to nurse and grow their food organically. Poultry farming is a common activity around us and getting fowl droppings to use either to nurse our seeds or grow our vegetables is easy. A practical examples is planting cabbage seedlings on fowl droppings .The growth is always powerful, especially when it's well decomposed.

The moment you are able to grow your own food ,knowing exactly what you put in it ,then you can be sure of eating food that is safe. Nursing cabbage on a mixture of fowl droppings is always brings great results. Thank you for reading.I know you learnt something .

Thanks for the lecture I learned a lot ,may it's time I open my own small organic garden

I love this post. Simple and educative. Yeah we really have to check on how the foods are grown especially vegetables. Because it looks clean doesn't mean it is good🥺

Indeed, most farmers are more concern about their proceeds rather than making the healthy products.
It's important for us to get involved in growing out own healthy products which are safe for consumption
