On this occasion I tried to take part in a challenge in the form of a challenge held by the steemit team, namely "Steemit Engagement Challenge - Season 4 Week 1 My View on Cyber ​​Bullying". With the advancement of technology, it is easier for us to interact with each other even with a very wide range. In this case, I tried a little social media problems that are closely related to bullying that often occurs for social media users.

Talking about the virtual world is certainly very familiar to our ears, this happens a lot in the environment where we live and in the world of work that we do every day. We are usually very aware that we are in a network that cannot be separated from life in the media world which can happen at any time regardless of who we are. This cyber bullying often occurs as a result of our lack of care or our lack of knowledge. Of course this is very detrimental to anyone who has experienced it.

Understand the world of cyber bullying which is currently happening on various social media in various ways that can make a person harmed in the form of material and even defamation. This is of course the effect of increasingly advanced technology being misused by others, which of course creates an effect that makes victims think twice about getting involved in social media.

In doing so, the perpetrator can do so through social media, messages and even through games which in essence aim to intimidate the victim, frighten, harass and even humiliate the victim according to the wishes of the perpetrator.

What is your understanding on Cyber bullying?

Until now, I have never been a victim of cyber bullying and have no desire to do so, because in principle I only use social media as necessary and use it for personal development purposes in interacting with my fellow family and friends who live far from me.

Have you ever been a victim or perpetrator of Cyber bullying?

One of my friends or female colleagues has experienced harassment by an irresponsible person sent via social media that is used by him in the form of pictures and words that make him feel harassed, so I recommend blocking the user and directing him to be careful Be careful in choosing friends who are not known through social media. Even on another occasion there was also a friend of mine who was careless in clicking a link so he was constantly intimidated by calls which caused him to feel annoyed and of course I recommend being more careful in choosing links.

Give an instance (if any) wherein you or someone you know felt bullied in cyberspace, and what spiked such a feeling. (It could be throughout any social platform)<?center>

How did this encounter affect this said person?

In that incident he felt disturbed even this made him lazy to relate to other people and also he was more careful when taking an action on social media.

This did not last long, because he tried to use social media wisely and not arbitrarily in clicking on a link that he said would be given but something unexpected happened.

How safe do you feel on Steemit?

In the world that I was in steemit, I felt very safe, even though many people joined here from various parts of the world, even though sometimes the language used was the same but the dialect was different. But I feel very comfortable here even today since joining the world of steemit in 2019.

And have you ever felt bullied at any point in time? (on Steemit)

I have never been intimidated when I joined the world of steemit, even though there are a lot of steemians who join here and that sense of comfort is still nurtured to this day.

What lessons did you gain from such a scenario?

Many lessons can be learned from the experience of my colleague who is a victim of cyber bullying, that we need to be careful in choosing partners and of course this is very different from the world of steemit that everyone respects others, even if it is just to give a little appreciation or comment to build relationships. a friendship with other steemians even though they are in a quite far area.

And what advice can you give to your audience?

For the future, let's be wise and smart in choosing social media in interacting with other people and of course I recommend joining steemit, even though it's different but still taking care of each other to achieve a main goal, which is to interact with all people who come from various parts of the world.
