Forgiveness first of all is a very important virtue that a person can poses. Forgiveness therefore is the ability of a person to let go the wrongs of another towards them irrespective of the gravity of the wrong.

Forgiveness doesn't bare grudges and doesn't look at the past. Forgiveness doesn't keep records of the past. Forgiveness drives away bitterness and frees ones soul from self toture.

It I important to understand that despite the fact that someone may have wronged you for example, the first person who get entangled with the burden of bitterness is you. Therefore when we forgive, we free our own selves from the power of bitterness and hatred. And as a result we Welcome love and tolerance.

Normally as humans, we must Intentionally develop our forgiveness ability because it is not easy to forgive someone who has done you so much wrong or who has brought about pain. The only way is to tolerate one another and remember the initiator of forgiveness.

No matter how we try by own strength we will always be found wanting and struggle to forgive people but if we understand how God has forgiven our own sins and the love he had and still has for us by giving away his son Jesus Christ to die on the cross to set us free then our minds and hearts will be soften to forgive other people as well.

We celebrate the global forgiveness day by seeking forgiveness from people we may have wronged us in the past. It can be friends, relatives, colleagues, team mates, neighbors, classmates And many other in your space.

When we intentionally seek for a person's forgiveness, it's a prove that we are sincerely sorry and have changed. Or that we regret our bad actions.

This day is also celebrated by letting go of the grudge we may have in our hearts towards others.

Please we should note that Forgiveness is not to be done only on particular days or occasions. But this particular day is just a reminder that we need to always look for a way to forgive and free our hearts from the condemnation of unforgivingness.

What impact does your community gain during and after the commemoration? (50-100 words).

During and after the commémoration of this day , a lot of broken relationships are being restored. The love will be fanned because forgiveness drives away hatred and bitterness.

Our communities will be much more better if we can develop the habit to genuinely forgive other people. And also we should do that every day and not just on particular occasions or dates.

We will have a better and more friendly environment. Because where there is forgiveness, the is love, peace and unity.
