Have you ever thought of what really happened and what is happening when you see a lake?
I took a mourning journey to Awing to condul with a colleague who lost the child.

You know we always say that when you experience something you will know how to tell someone exact thing that happened. I have never visited lake Awing, I have only seen on photo.

I saw the lake Awing with my very eyes. Do you know what happened? I remember, I am sure it was 2018, I had to get up in Ndu by then I was studying at the Cameroon Baptist Theological seminary (CBST) Ndu. This place is a great place to study guys especially for those whom God has extended his special grace of full time ministry. Back to what happened then. I got up at midnight and my WhatsApp page was full with messages. What was the messages all about.

The very first name I opened, I saw a family drinking palm 🌴 oil. The next thing I saw was lake Awing is removing toxic gas and the only solution we have to stay alive is to drink palm oil.

Late Awing in Bamenda, how many km to Ndu? How many km to Yaounde? How many km to Douala? People drank oil in all the regions of Cameroon. It was then, I discovered that dead is the highest thing that brings fear. No one wants to die but none of us will live forever. The holy book says, "there's a time to born and a time to die." This is one of the Wonders of God. Man is here and tomorrow, he or she is no more.
